Other MAX was
Weeroona College’s first single seat hybrid 1 vehicle.
Named after the DYMAXION, a 1930’s
experimental, aerodynamic, three wheeled car designed by R. Buckminster
Fuller in the USA.
In 2003 the original Honda GX-31
engine with pull start was replaced with a Honda GX-25 fitted with
electric start. Other improvements were made.
The vehicle has only raced on the two
occasions but it has competed as a HPV at the Wonthaggi HP Grand Prix
with the engine removed.

honours inaugural event on new hybrid track. Winner hybrid 1 open class
trial and overall.
